A brief manifesto on why I tell stories.

WHY I WRITE

The Gist

I have stories to tell. There's no other way for me to be satisfied by this urge except by writing and sharing them; that last part is particularly important. I have stories to tell, not stories to keep.

That's literally it.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

The Commandments

Do what I want—especially if it hurts no one but myself
Do not care what others think—no one
Do not call one who I cannot talk about everything a friend
Do call one whose company I enjoy an acquaintance
Do not be afraid to look into the abyss
Do (try) not to spoil food, by the order of our Pervert and Chef Sanji-kun
Be perverted and weird—with adequate restraint
Weave words, weave worlds, and drink iced tea and apple juice while doing it
Fuck love, give me fire

I know who I am, I am who I am, and many will try to shake this man.
