Today is not a fun day. Not for any particular reason…just that it is. Ah, well. You’d think I’d be accustomed to this. I mean that sincerely.
It is coming to that time of the year where I start thinking about my social media presence and…what the hell I’m doing with myself alongside it. Or whatever. The last two times I tried this, I failed miserably in 2024 and 2025. Oh, joy. Fun times.
So, let’s start, shall we?
General
Overall…going into 2027, I’d like to “start over”, in a way. I’m certain I have said this before as well, but guess what? I’m gonna try again anyway. I just hate having so many options for social media and shit…
Inkbreaker
Never mentioned this place, but boy, it’s amazing. It’s sorta become my place to literally write everything as if I don’t have offline programs….which I do, but, you know, sometimes it’s just nice to work online?? It’s weird…
Plans
I plan to use this place exactly as I just mentioned: if I feel like writing online, I’ll be using it. It helps that it has a “site” of sorts through it that I’ll have to keep up with; it seems people on IB like my nonsense, non-linear and perfectly impossible to follow writing. Thank yas, anyways! I appreciate it!!
Main plan is to use it in tandem with the following:
- Personal blog: Posts will be written here first before transferring to my personal site via VSC
- Social media: Again, posts will be written here first, ‘cause we all know what it’s like to have a post disappear because of slippy fingers or accidental back-buttoning or someshit
And I plan to use the newsletter here as a way for…well, a newsletter …??? ‘Cause as things are right now, I’m not certain how to do that through coding—yet. If I have to pay for anything, it won’t be happening, that’s for certain. At least not in the next handful of years. Furthermore, I’d rather keep things as simple as possible and not have all my personal stuff all over the place online. My personal blog, Inkbreaker, and maybe one or two other places…yeah. I don’t want to use Patreon or Ko-fi for newsletters anymore.
As for a “support” button……we’ll see? As things are now, it’s alright to have Ko-fi…hmm…
Story sites
As I’ve said in a previous post (somewhere?), I’m feeling rejuvenated now that I have my W5 site up and running. I don’t feel tied to sites where I can’t control anything. Thank you so much, Neocities, for existing.

I love Tumblr, but I tire of it. It’s just not for me. It’s more of a place where I visit now and then and just look around…not really a place where I post shit. I’d like to post shit, but I’ve no idea what to. Even with my newly refurbished writeblr, I…got no ideas as to what the hell I’m doing. Never have.
As for Goblin.band…uuuggh, it’s no different from Tumblr, quite literally. Pretty much just a Fediverse mirror.

Orrery
I really love the vision of Orrery, but it’s a little…cumbersome right now. Too much stuff, maybe? I’m uncertain. I do love it as a main place for forum-like social media aside from Inkbreaker, though. Both sites are for 18+ after all. I might have to put this under social media…hm.
As for what I’ll upload…uh…It’ll probably be no different from Diarmi, meaning I’ll be taking anything related to The Little Gods down from there. It just doesn’t feel like the right place for it.
